For more than a century, St. George Albanian Orthodox Cathedral has served as the spiritual center for Orthodox Christians in our neighborhood, Greater Boston, and beyond. First established to minister to newcomers from Albania, St. George Albanian Cathedral now comprises worshipers from diverse ethnic backgrounds. As the headquarters of the Albanian Archdiocese of the Orthodox Church in America, we provide a broad-based ministry that draws people from over 40 towns in the Commonwealth and neighboring states.

Our Cathedral and its activities are a living witness to the proclamation of the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, as handed down to His Holy Apostles and transmitted to the early Church from the first centuries to the present day through the Apostolic Succession. Our approach is traditional in liturgy and contemporary in perspective, as the faithful address contemporary issues at home and in society to seek their personal salvation in the Living God.
